LHH is seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their Kansas City-based client’s dynamic legal team. This boutique litigation firm offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment where trial experience and high-volume case management are key.
What You’ll Do
- Support three attorneys, including one equity partner, across a diverse civil litigation caseload.
- Draft and manage legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery materials.
- Coordinate trial preparation including exhibit creation, witness prep, and in-trial attorney support.
- Maintain compliance with court procedures and filing requirements in state and federal jurisdictions.
- Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress.
- Analyze legal materials and assist in developing case strategies and reports.
Who You Are
- Experienced litigation paralegal with 5–10 years in a high-volume legal setting, preferably a large law firm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and legal document management systems.
- Detail-oriented multitasker with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Confident working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, trial-focused environment.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: $70,000 –$85,000
- Hybrid schedule: 2 remote days, 3 in-office
