LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist for our client in Kansas City, MO. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing and optimizing various HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, LOA, recruiting and onboarding. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with strong attention to detail and communication skills.


Salary Range: This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $65,000 to $80,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.




Responsibilities:


· Manage payroll for approximately 300 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.


· Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.


· Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.


· Address employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and support to maintain a positive work environment.


· Manage complex benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, LOA and other employee benefits.


· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.


Qualifications:


· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field


· Minimum of 5 years of experience working in HR or a related field


· Proven experience with payroll processing across multistate


· Strong knowledge of onboarding, orientation, and recruiting processes


· Experience with HRIS systems and software, preferably Workday


· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


· Excellent communication and strong analytical skills
