HR Operations Specialist – Kansas City, MO (Hybrid)
LHH is partnering with a Legal Firm in Kansas City, MO to find an HR Operations Specialist to join their team! Pay for this role starts at $55-60,000 annually and goes up based on experience! You will need to be on-site 2 days/week and can work the remaining time at home. Read below for additional details and apply today if you are interested!
MAIN JOB DUTIES:
· Manage day-to-day HRIS operations, encompassing data review, validation, entry, and maintenance. Ensure critical HRIS system fields are accurately populated and up to date.
· Process candidate onboarding, including background and conflicts checks, taking necessary actions if checks do not clear.
· Respond to internal and external inquiries and requests promptly, maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality principles as required by law and internal policy.
· Communicate effectively and collaboratively with the Payroll Department to ensure the timeliness of final checks and other time-sensitive requests.
· Collaborate with Office Administrators, Corporate Managers, IT, and other corporate departments as necessary.
· Stay informed about internal HR policies to communicate effectively during employee inquiries and conduct handbook orientation during the onboarding process.
· Coordinate Employee Service and Appreciation Awards and Volunteer of the Quarter programs.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· BA Degree in HR or relatable field preferred
· High school degree required
· UKG Software experience preferred
· At least 3 years of experience supporting HR including onboarding, offboarding, data entry into HRIS, electronic document management
· Highly engaging individual that likes to interact with people, adaptable and team oriented
