LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a thriving manufacturing company in the Kansas City area to directly hire a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager in the 1st quarter. This is a full-time, fully onsite position offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and bonus potential.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to supply chain operations.
Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Manage the budget for the supply chain department and ensure cost-effective operations.
Utilize supply chain management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred. Commensurate professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a people management role within the supply chain function.
Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, logistics, and inventory management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
