LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a thriving manufacturing company in the Kansas City area to directly hire a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager in the 1st quarter. This is a full-time, fully onsite position offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and bonus potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to supply chain operations.

  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Manage the budget for the supply chain department and ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Utilize supply chain management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred. Commensurate professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a people management role within the supply chain function.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, logistics, and inventory management.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team.

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
