LHH is partnering with a non-profit who is looking to add an Accountant to their staff. This temporary to hire position will be a hybrid role in the north Kent, WA location. The team is looking for someone who has at least two years of accounting experience and who is passionate about the mission of their organization. The ideal candidate will have some non-profit experience but it’s not required. As long as you are eager to help where needed and embody the values of the organization, you can be considered. Responsibilities:

Processing journal entries
Balance sheet reconciliations
Maintaining the general ledger and month end close
Processing grant funds and invoicing
Supporting the accounting team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent years of work experience
Non-profit industry experience would be helpful but not required
Two or more years of accounting experience
High attention to detail
Ability to work well with others and collaborate when needed
Organized and able to meet deadlines

Employment Details:

Temporary to hire
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Hybrid work schedule
