LHH is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst to join our client growing company in Seattle, WA. This position will be a 6-month contract that is fully onsite at the client location.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support the company’s financial planning and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy and decision-making.
Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to management and stakeholders.
Budgeting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, including variance analysis and forecast updates.
Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and long-term planning.
Cost Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses and profitability assessments to support operational efficiency and cost management initiatives.
Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitor performance, and economic factors to inform strategic decisions.
Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and marketing, to provide financial insights and support.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, and assist with audits as needed.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required by the finance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial modeling.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, QuickBooks).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry-specific financial practices and regulations is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software.
Compensation: $30-$35/hour DOE
