Position Overview:

The Medical Billing Specialist will handle day-to-day billing operations, working closely with our clinical and administrative teams. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home while also collaborating in-person at our Knoxville office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies

  • Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits

  • Post payments and adjustments accurately

  • Maintain detailed and organized billing records

  • Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of medical billing experience preferred

  • Familiarity with medical billing software and EHR systems

  • Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills



Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
