Position Overview:
The Medical Billing Specialist will handle day-to-day billing operations, working closely with our clinical and administrative teams. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home while also collaborating in-person at our Knoxville office.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies
Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
Post payments and adjustments accurately
Maintain detailed and organized billing records
Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Requirements:
1+ years of medical billing experience preferred
Familiarity with medical billing software and EHR systems
Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
