Job Posting: Payroll Specialist (Fully Onsite) – Knoxville, TN
Salary: Up to $75,000 annually

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Knoxville, TN. This is a fully onsite position offering a competitive salary of up to $75,000 per year. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with union payroll and a proven track record of handling high-volume manual payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process high-volume payroll, ensuring timely and accurate pay for all employees.

  • Administer union payroll, ensuring compliance with union agreements and collective bargaining contracts.

  • Prepare and process manual payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and adjustments.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including union-specific tax rules.

  • Handle payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees, providing solutions in a timely manner.

  • Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management and external auditors.

  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience processing union payroll and handling high-volume manual payroll.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively.

  • Solid understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and union agreements.
