Provider Credentialing Specialist


Full Time: On-Site

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Provider Credentialing Specialist to join our corporate team. This role is essential in ensuring that all healthcare providers are properly credentialed, re-credentialed, and privileged to deliver patient care across our network. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, familiar with credentialing standards, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and current credentialing data for all providers.

  • Complete and track payer enrollment applications; follow up to ensure timely processing.

  • Manage documentation including state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice insurance, and other required credentials.

  • Stay up to date on health plan and regulatory credentialing requirements.

  • Input and update provider information in credentialing databases and online systems.

  • Monitor and track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, and other credentials.

  • Ensure provider practice locations are accurately reflected with all payers and agencies.

  • Conduct audits of provider directories to ensure accuracy.

  • Provide credentialing and privileging verifications as needed.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of provider information.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in health plan and hospital credentialing is required.

  • Strong understanding of credentialing processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.



Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
