Accounting Clerk

Our client, a food & beverage manufacturer in La Mirada, is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk to perform accounts receivable and accounts payable duties on a temporary to hire basis. This position will support the accounting department with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.

Pay range for this job is $26.00-$27.00 per hour plus overtime!

Job Duties:

• Maintain files for PO’s and vouchers.

• On a monthly basis, check all AP invoices against the AP report.

• Open new vendor files

• Receive and handle calls from vendors on past due invoices.

• Communicate with vendors on invoice discrepancies.

• Review AR Aging to verify past due accounts.

• Communicate with customers on all past due accounts.

• Print and email our billing statements.

• Assist AP/AR Supervisor settlement for all drivers.

• Responsible for deposits.

Requirements:

· Must have experience with SAGE accounting software

· One year minimum of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience

· Excellent communication skills
