Are you an experienced logistics professional looking for an opportunity to leverage your international shipping expertise in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented Global Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to oversee global freight operations, manage customs compliance, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage international shipments across Canada, Europe, Asia, and Guam, ensuring smooth border crossings and ocean freight coordination.
Prepare and process essential customs documentation, including US & Canadian Manifests for DG freight, commercial invoices, ISF forms, and BOLs.
Maintain compliance by completing Power of Attorney (POA) documents for import/export regulations.
Develop and implement SOPs for logistics operations while maintaining databases of international and domestic vendors.
Identify and execute cost-saving strategies to enhance supply chain performance.
Perform inventory audits and generate reports for internal tracking and forecasting.
Coordinate with sales, leadership, and logistics teams to classify products, review Incoterms, and provide tariff classifications.
Track and trace shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and proactive problem-solving.
Work closely with freight forwarders and transport carriers to negotiate rates and optimize transportation strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 5+ years in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Software Proficiency: MS Office Suite, MS Dynamics, Sage, Cargo Wise, Tru Commerce, IRIS, CN MTS, Lotus.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of customs regulations, tariff classification, and international trade compliance.
Key Attributes: Adaptable, highly organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year
