Position Title: Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry)
Location: Onsite with potential for hybrid schedule after training
Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

LHH Recruitment Solutions seeking registered Pharmacy Technicians in Lakeland, FL for a contract position with potential for permanent conversion. The role involves coordinating and processing patient medication orders, customer service coordination, and pharmacy technician duties under a pharmacist's supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process prescription information

• Perform data entry for new and refill orders

• Maintain HIPAA compliance while attending to customer needs

• Prepare and maintain patient profiles and records

• Follow regulations and maintain prescription logs

• Prepare and submit claims for reimbursement

• Resolve issues with prescription orders

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Registered and licensed Pharmacy Technician in Florida

• 1 year of pharmacy technician and customer service experience

• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy processes

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry

Preferred:

• Completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program

• National certification through PTCB or equivalent

• Knowledge of insurance procedures

• Spanish language skills
