LHH has partnered with an outstanding public accounting firm in Prince George’s County to identify an Audit Consultant! This position will be instrumental in reviewing and improving accounting processes and controls for clients along with general accounting tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Track and analyze client spending to improve organizational efficiency.

• Prepare balance sheets and audit statements.

• Prepare and review all documents and work papers.

• Conduct and attend regular meetings with management to share financial findings.

• Keep a check on processes and regulations and maintain compliance with policies and regulations.

• Meet with clients to discuss reviews and assessments.

• Provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation based on empirical data findings.

• Work closely with management to increase the financial efficiency of the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA/CPA-eligible preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in external audit.
