LHH is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead collections for a client in the medical device manufacturing industry. This pivotal role ensures healthy cash flow, timely collections, and a strong financial foundation as the organization scales. You will manage a team of AR professionals and champion process improvements. This role is in Mercer County.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable department, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
Oversee the full AR cycle: invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
Maintain and manage AR aging to ensure clean and accurate receivables tracking.
Monitor aging reports and proactively manage outstanding balances to minimize risk and improve DSO.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve billing issues and streamline workflows.
Establish and enforce AR policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Prepare and present AR metrics and reports to senior leadership.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and implement process improvements.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
B2B experience is a plus.
