LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company located in Lemont, PA . The Assistant Controller will oversee finance operations in collaboration with the Director System Controller. This role involves implementing and maintaining procedures to enhance the month-end close process, aiming to reduce it from 8 days to 6 days. The Assistant Controller will ensure robust controls for accurate financial reporting and have the opportunity to shape and develop the role based on their interests and skills.

Salary: $130-$140k
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and optimize dashboard reporting processes.
Drive significant banking changes and process optimizations.
Assess and manage the impact of Epiq implementation.
Assist with long-term strategic workforce planning.
Produce financial statements and forecast the organization's financial health.
Implement compliance procedures for financial laws and regulations.
Manage accounting and auditing processes.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and controls.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Five years of experience in accounting or finance.
Three years of progressive leadership experience.
CPA certification required; HFMA CHFP or FHFMA preferred.
Public accounting foundation with industry experience is ideal. Candidates close to obtaining their CPA will be considered.
Healthcare industry experience preferred, but open to other backgrounds. Non-profit experience could be beneficial due to similar accounting treatments.

Expert knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
Proficiency in financial software and data analytics.
Knowledge of healthcare accounting and reimbursement principles.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $130-140k, targeting candidates with 10-12 years of experience.
Annual bonus: 5% of the salary.
