LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to announce a partnership with a reputable healthcare company located in Lemont, PA. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Manager to join their dynamic team.

Job Title: Payroll Manager
Location: Lemont, PA 16851
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000

Position Summary:

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of all payroll processes, including bi-weekly multistate payroll processing and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Act as subject matter expert and escalation point for payroll issues, providing solutions and guidance to resolve complex problems.
  • Continuously seek and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.

Department Management:

  • Manage payroll staff, including hiring, training, and coaching team members to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Prepare work schedules and conduct work planning, estimation, and prioritization to meet payroll deadlines and operational goals.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of payroll reports and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Leadership:

  • Select, train, and coach payroll team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Meet payroll operational and financial standards by monitoring and managing payroll budgets and expenditures.
  • Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members to promote continuous learning and improvement.

Professionalism:

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive payroll information and employee data.
  • Foster positive employee relations and teamwork by addressing and resolving complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Uphold ethical standards and practices in all payroll activities.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Lead Oracle Payroll Projects and ERP Advisory engagements, ensuring successful implementation and integration of payroll systems.
  • Prepare financial statements and analysis in partnership with the System Controller, providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Manage payroll adjustments, audits, and compliance with tax regulations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  • Experience with Oracle payroll systems and UKG/Kronos timekeeping systems preferred.
  • Leadership experience and knowledge of tax reciprocity rules preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong team management and coaching skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality payroll services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with adaptability to changing environments and technologies.
