Job Description: Senior Supply Chain Analyst
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable and stable manufacturing company in the Kansas City area seeking to directly hire a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to add to its team in the 1st quarter. This is a full-time, fully onsite position offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth!
Job responsibilities:
Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and best practices.
Assist in the development and maintenance of supply chain management software and tools.
Support the supply chain team in various projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications needed:
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred; commensurate professional experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a related role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools; strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
