LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for our client in the Lewiston, PA area. This fully on-site direct hire role focuses on ensuring all maintenance activities meet or exceed quality and reliability standards. This position requires a strong background in industrial electronics and maintenance, as well as PLC programming and troubleshooting experience being HIGHLY preferred. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years’ experience within industrial maintenance, electrical engineering and maintenance work, most recently within a manufacturing environment, including being able to work an on-call rotation schedule.

Salary Range - $28-$35 hourly.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure warranties remain effective by adhering to necessary and required/documented maintenance, safeguards and guidelines.

· Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and replacement of components.

· Ability to provide remote guidance to OEM technicians while troubleshooting more difficult failures.

· Track, document and perform preventative maintenance, cleaning of machines and systems.

· Perform equipment repairs including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.

· Proper use of test equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues as needed.

· Store, read and interpret machinery and equipment manuals, instructions and work orders to perform required maintenance and servicing.

· Maintain support systems in working order, i.e., heat, air, fans, air compressors, and dryers, etc.

· Personally responsible for housekeeping in parts room, shop and air compressor rooms, and production work areas.

· Continuously ensure work areas are neat, organized, and free of safety hazards.

· Ensure production area floors and equipment are free from excess spare parts, worn parts, debris, and other items that are not necessary for operational needs.

· Ensure compliance with OSHA and Company safety rules and regulations.

· Perform and maintain current safety certifications as required.

· Adhere to on-call policy and maintain on-call availability.

· Maintain an open line of communication between peers, shifts, and leaders to ensure effective reporting of equipment deficiencies and repairs are reported promptly.

· Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods.

· Aid and ensure compliance with OSHA and Company safety rules and regulations.

· Expect required overtime hours on off days when necessary.

Role Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Technical training is highly preferred.

· REQUIRED - 3 -5 years’ CURRENT industrial electrical experience required.

· Experience in AC/DC motors and VFDs.

· REQUIRED – Lock out tagout experience.

· REQUIRED – experience in 480 VAC and 24 VDC control power.

· Experience in troubleshooting gearboxes and/or conveyors.

· Repair of hydraulic pumps and pressure systems, experience with vacuum pumps.

· Ability to test and replacement of motor starts, relays, etc.

· Basic computer skills required.

· Knowledge of electrical theory and principles of industrial machinery operations.

· Standard knowledge and ability to interpret and understand product specifications, quality requirements, production goals, efficiency, and waste

· Strong analytical skills and understanding of cause-and-effect logic.

· REQUIRED - Ability to perform accurate electrical and mechanical repairs in an industrial setting.

· Proven problem-solving experience/capability.

· Demonstrated safe, effective use of hand, maintenance, power, and shop tools.

· Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.

· Must have good communication skills, collaboration and work well in a team environment.

Knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens PLC is highly preferred, as well as with a background in machine process control



Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
