LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist for one our customers located in Livermore, California. This position is 100% in-office! The role will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our construction projects while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Verify and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with project managers and HR to gather necessary payroll information.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
  • Software experience with Viewpoint would be nice to have
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience: 5 years Payroll experience

Pay Details: $35.00 to $41.00 per hour
