Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Verify and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll records and employee information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with project managers and HR to gather necessary payroll information.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
- Software experience with Viewpoint would be nice to have
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience: 5 years Payroll experience
