Development Director (Associate)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire, W2, Benefits Optional

Our non-profit client is seeking a Development Director (Associate) to support the Executive Director with Major Donor Fundraising Programs. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in fundraising and donor relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and evaluate fundraising goals, identifying, and prioritizing high-potential prospects.
  • Meet annual fundraising targets and manage donor relationships, including preparing funding requests and follow-up reports.
  • Develop donor benefits and recognition strategies to enhance relationships, collaborating with program staff as needed.
  • Assist in strategic planning and promote Endowment campaign activities.
  • Conduct prospect research and create strategies to engage individual and corporate donors, soliciting gifts according to established plans.
  • Oversee the creation of solicitation materials, campaign summaries, and reports while monitoring campaign results.
  • Manage the production and distribution of press releases, printed publications, and other communications.
  • Collaborate with various staff members as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising or donor relations, with a focus on major gifts.
  • Preferred experience in a nonprofit or fundraising environment.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment


Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
