Staff Accountant

Please note that this job will start 100% onsite at either this company’s location in either Lone Tree or Greenwood Village. After initial training, you may be allowed to work a hybrid schedule, working 2 days onsite, 3 days from home using company-provided equipment.

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Staff Accountant job in Lone Tree (or Greenwood Village), CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last 3 months. Depending on your performance and our client’s future needs, this assignment could get extended. You will earn between $31.00 and $35.00 per hour. You will also be able to sign up for LHH’s benefits programs during the temporary assignment (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations for accounts


• Accrual reviews related to utilities, repair and maintenance, and fixed assets


• Assisting with month end close duties


• General ledger accounting


• Posting journal entries


• Reconciling balance sheet accounts


• Preparing and reviewing financial statements


• Analyzing data sets in Excel; analyzing variances to budgeted and prior period amounts


• Preparing recurring and ad hoc reports


• Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & use tax filings


• All other related tasks as required

  Qualifications:



• At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role required


• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting or a similar discipline preferred


• Excellent Excel skills required: xlookups, formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, etc.


• Previous experience with Sage software preferred but not required


• Excellent analytical skills


• Excellent attention to detail

  Compensation:



• Hourly rate between $31.00 and $35.00
