LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Housing Case Manager for our nonprofit client located in the Long Beach area. This role will be a contract opportunity and a full-time, 100% onsite role with some field work involved. The role will be focused on helping our client's program participants to get immediate medical attention as needed, both mental and physical, any necessary documentation, and help them to create long term goals in order to eventually move into a more stable housing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Minimum 2 years experience working within case management and/or social services
• Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Proficient within Microsoft Office and preferably HMIS

• Strong compassion and empathy for others, while being able to remain profession and create boundaries
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to de-escalate high pressure situations in a calm and resolving manner
• Able to work well with others in a team environment and also work independently as needed
• Ability to work within different software systems
