Staff Accountant (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Long Beach, CA
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Long Beach. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for a self-motivated individual looking to grow within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience (corporate).
Proficiency with Excel and accounting software in MS Dynamics 365.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per hour
