Temp to hire hybrid position (3 days onsite, two remote)


Schedule: Monday-Friday


Hours: 8 am-5 pm PST


Start Pay :$90k annually

As part of a collaborative team, the Compensation Specialist plays a key role in the administration, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of compensation projects and tasks:



  • Compensation Administration: Support the execution of compensation projects, including job architecture and policy redesign.


  • Strategy Development: Create and implement compensation strategies and structures that align with organizational goals and objectives.


  • Job Evaluations: Conduct evaluations and classifications to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.


  • Collaboration: Work with HR partners and departmental leaders to collect job information and analyze job descriptions for accurate role definitions.


  • Market Analysis: Participate in salary surveys and assess compensation data to determine the organization's market standing.


  • Program Review: Update and refine existing compensation programs to address current and future business needs.


  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.


  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.


  • Program Design: Assist in designing and administering new compensation programs to support organizational objectives.


  • System Management: Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to manage compensation systems effectively, ensuring data accuracy and currency.


Requirements:



  • Experience: 5 years of HR compensation experience with strong administration of policies and procedures.


  • Technical Requirements:



    • Must have intermediate knowledge of general office procedures and demonstrate excellent organizational and computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


  • Knowledge of federal and state laws
