Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? LHH is seeking a dynamic Compliance Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the non-profit organization remains compliant with DMH and DHS regulations, directly contributing to the well-being and safety of the homeless communities they serve. Your efforts will help maintain safe and supportive environments in the shelters, making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance and safety, creating a secure environment for our residents.
Collaborate with the facilities department to address maintenance issues, ensuring our shelters are well-maintained and welcoming.
Review and resolve grievances promptly and effectively, advocating for the needs and rights of the community members.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, protecting the privacy and dignity of those they serve.
Resolve audit case notes and ensure accurate documentation, maintaining the integrity and quality of services.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Services, specifically working with underprivileged and homeless communities.
A minimum of 2 years experience in auditing progress notes, compliance or quality assurance in DMH or related field.
Knowledgeable in HMIS is a plus.
Reliable transportation, valid CA driver's license, and willingness to travel between sites (mileage reimbursed)
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Services, or a related field is required.
Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM | ONSITE with travel between sites
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
