Compliance Officer
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Compliance Officer for our nonprofit client located in the South LA area. This position will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.
This position will be focused on auditing and ensuring that our client's programs are following guidelines and requirements as laid out by grants and funding sources. Attention to detail is extremely important and the ability to drive to different sites throughout the South LA area is required. Please note, this role will be doing auditing for different shelter facilities in the area, and although this position will not be working directly with the homeless population, it will be working within the shelter facilities throughout the week and interested individuals must feel comfortable working around this demographic.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years relevant experience within behavioral health/nonprofit administrative and/or grant funding/compliance
Proficiency working within multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office
Valid Driver's License and reliable form of transportation
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work well independently and make sound judgment calls when needed
Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines when needed
