Job Title: Field Technician (Law Firm)

Location: Nationwide Travel (30-40% Travel)

Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour (based on experience)

Overtime: Unlimited overtime available

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Technician to join our team at a prominent law firm. This role involves extensive travel throughout the United States (30-40% of the year) to provide IT support and maintenance at various office locations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within law firms and be adept at handling both routine and complex technical issues in a fast-paced, high-stakes legal environment. You???ll be responsible for ensuring that all IT infrastructure and systems are operating at peak performance, enabling our attorneys and staff to work seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite IT support to law firm offices across the U.S., ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with law firm-specific software (e.g., document management systems, case management tools, and billing software).
• Collaborate with in-house IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Set up and support conference room technologies, including AV equipment for depositions and virtual court proceedings.
• Ensure the security and integrity of sensitive client data and adhere to industry-standard IT security protocols.
• Manage IT equipment inventory and ensure all office locations are equipped with necessary hardware and software.
• Provide training and guidance to attorneys and support staff on IT best practices.
• Document all support and maintenance activities thoroughly in ticketing systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in IT within a law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of law firm-specific software and technology.
• Experience with troubleshooting networking issues, VPNs, remote access, and cloud-based systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, Mac OS, and mobile operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with staff at all levels.
• Ability to travel extensively across the United States (30-40% of the year).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver???s license and ability to travel as required.
