LHH is hiring compassionate Housing Navigators with Case Manager experience to support our clients in a shelter setting. This role is perfect for those who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals facing housing challenges. You'll manage a caseload of 20-25 clients, helping them transition into and maintain permanent housing.
What You'll Do:
Work on-site with clients who live in the shelter—no fieldwork required.
Manage a caseload of 20-25 clients, focusing on 4-5 clients per day.
Perform daily wellness and room checks, providing coaching and support.
De-escalate incidents and facilitate group activities.
Assist with housing unit viewings when clients are close to being housed.
Conduct weekly case management meetings and ensure client files are up-to-date and compliant.
Address clients’ needs related to housing, mental health, medical concerns, domestic violence, and more.
Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s degree
Valid driver’s license
Experience with the homeless population (less than a year of experience is considered)
Strong documentation skills
Compassion and a commitment to client confidentiality
