We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. The HRBP will serve as a strategic advisor and partner to leadership, driving organizational goals through sound HR practices. This role requires a strong understanding of California and federal employment laws, a focus on compliance, and a commitment to fostering a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Application of Employment Law: Ensure compliance with California and federal employment laws by staying updated on regulatory changes and implementing best practices.
· Compliance Management: Audit and monitor HR practices to ensure adherence to internal policies and external legal requirements.
· Performance Management: Facilitate and oversee the performance review process, providing support to managers and employees to encourage growth and alignment with organizational goals.
· Employee Relations: Build strong relationships with employees and managers to promote a healthy work environment. Address workplace concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.
· Investigations: Lead and conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee grievances, workplace issues, or policy violations, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
· HR Software Expertise: Leverage Workday software for HR functions, including employee data management, reporting, and analytics.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in an HR role, ideally as an HR Business Partner.
· Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws and regulations.
· Demonstrated skills in compliance, performance management, and employee relations.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations tactfully.
· Proficiency with Workday software is a mandatory requirement.
· Highly organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR) is preferred.
Pay Details: $45.00 to $65.00 per hour
