LHH has partnered with a dynamic and innovative company in Los Angeles, CA, to find a talented Software Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying software solutions that meet our client’s business needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products and have the opportunity to contribute to the full software development lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in various programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) to develop software applications.
  • Requirement Analysis: Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of the business needs.
  • System Design: Design software architecture and create detailed design documents that guide the development process.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and performance.
  • Deployment: Assist in the deployment of software applications, ensuring they are released on time and meet quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software development processes, code, and systems.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, designers, and project managers to deliver solutions that are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve software development processes and techniques.

Qualifications:


  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Experience with frameworks and tools like .NET, React, Angular, or Django is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools like JIRA or Trello.
