JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Telecommunications and VoIP Engineer provides solutions and support for the Firm and maintains the optimal performance of all telecommunications, Cisco VoIP and Webex systems in a global environment.
In this capacity, the Senior Telecommunications and VoIP Engineer will:
• Perform support for Firmwide/global user moves, adds, changes, deletes and repairs as needed;
• Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, capacity planning and upgrading of all telecommunication and Cisco VoIP/Webex systems;
• Provide project support, technical support, and vendor escalation as needed to support the telecommunications and Cisco VoIP/Webex environment;
• Perform VoIP router and VoIP/UC server configuration and troubleshooting for the telecommunications and Cisco VoIP/Webex network;
• Prepare, maintain and distribute technical documentation for all assigned systems and projects including processes, procedures, troubleshooting, system design, training and change management using Atlassian Confluence , MS Visio, Word and Excel formats;
• Work overtime as required, which may include weekend, month-end or year-end support; and
• Handle additional or other related projects as assigned.
Proficiencies:
• Proficiency migrating Cisco UCM on premise to Webex Cloud Calling Dedicated Instance strongly preferred;
• Expert proficiency in support and maintenance of Cisco unified communication platforms and related voice over internet protocol applications (VolP, Cisco UCM, CUPS, Unity Connection, Expressway, Jabber and Webex Cloud Calling);
• Proficiency installing, supporting and maintain ATT IPLEX/BVoIP SIP Trunks;
• Proficiency configuring and maintaining Cisco voice gateway, CUBE and SBC routers, model 44xx and 83xx Series ISR;
• Fundamental proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, fax server software/FolP (OpenText / Rightfax); and
• Strong working knowledge of LAN and WAN network design, engineering and management (LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, SDWAN).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, Cisco VoIP and Webex Cloud Calling Product Support;
• At least 5 years of progressive telecommunications and Cisco VoIP and Webex cloud calling experience in a global environment;
• Cisco voice network certifications or equivalent work experience (CCNA, CCNP,CCVP, CCIE) preferred; and
• Microsoft system certifications (MCP, MCSE), a plus.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $103,300 and a maximum of $149,600 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
