Position: Tax Manager – Corporate Accounting & Strategy
Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote after 90 days)
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually + Overtime (hourly structure with time-and-a-half for OT)
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager who brings deep accounting knowledge and a strategic mindset to lead our tax operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage a high-volume portfolio, and is passionate about mentoring teams and driving innovation in tax practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a portfolio of 400–500 client accounts with precision and accountability.
Interpret and apply complex tax codes and legislation to ensure compliance and optimize outcomes.
Lead advanced tax preparation and review processes for corporate clients.
Develop and implement corporate tax planning strategies aligned with financial goals.
Ensure full regulatory compliance and governance across all tax-related activities.
Collaborate with staff and clients to deliver clear, effective communication and guidance.
Identify trends, introduce current tax strategies, and design internal training programs.
Produce accurate financial accounting and reporting deliverables.
Manage and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven expertise in accounting and tax legislation (non-negotiable).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and client relationship abilities.
Highly organized with strong time management and adaptability.
Work Schedule:
Off-season: Standard 8-hour workdays.
Peak season: 60–65 hours/week, with occasional higher demands.
Hybrid flexibility after 90 days, with 2 remote days/week (4 in-office during peak periods).
