Workers' Compensation Attorney

Location: California (Remote)

Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Remote

Pay Rate: $60 per hour

LHH is partnering with a reputable insurance company in seeking a Workers' Compensation Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  1. Litigation Management: Handle a caseload of workers' compensation defense matters. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.

  2. Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law. Draft complex legal documents, including memoranda, motions, and briefs. Provide substantive evaluations of factual and legal issues.

  3. Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Provide timely and strategic legal advice to clients on workers' compensation matters.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: JD and sit in California with a California Bar credential.

  2. Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Lawyer.

  3. Skills: Strong research and writing skills. Excellent litigation skills, with a successful track record. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.



Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
