Workers' Compensation Attorney
Location: California (Remote)
Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Remote
Pay Rate: $60 per hour
LHH is partnering with a reputable insurance company in seeking a Workers' Compensation Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
Litigation Management: Handle a caseload of workers' compensation defense matters. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law. Draft complex legal documents, including memoranda, motions, and briefs. Provide substantive evaluations of factual and legal issues.
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Provide timely and strategic legal advice to clients on workers' compensation matters.
Qualifications:
Education: JD and sit in California with a California Bar credential.
Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Lawyer.
Skills: Strong research and writing skills. Excellent litigation skills, with a successful track record. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
