Job Overview:
A Southern California-based defense law firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their team on a contract basis. The opportunity offers a hybrid or remote work environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in workers compensation defense with strong writing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in workers compensation defense cases, handling all aspects of the litigation process.
Make court appearances throughout Southern California as required.
Manage case files in a paperless environment, ensuring organized and efficient handling.
Collaborate with support staff, maintaining effective communication and workflow.
Requirements:
Must be barred in California.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Willingness to travel for court appearances as necessary.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Skills:
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
Strong communication and advocacy skills.
Compensation: $60- $85 per hour, eligible for health benefits
Pay Details: $60.00 to $85.00 per hour
