Job Title: Controller – Manufacturing & Global Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary:
As we prepare for our next phase of growth, we are seeking a seasoned Controller to lead and scale our global financial operations. This is a high-impact role that requires both strategic insight and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in manufacturing environments and global payroll, with a proven ability to manage cross-border finance functions and drive financial discipline across geographies. You will work directly with the CEO and executive team to implement scalable systems, ensure GAAP compliance, and support strategic decision-making as we grow.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process; ensure timely and accurate delivery of GAAP-compliant financial statements
Oversee all accounting operations, including payroll, AP/AR, vendor payments, and global cash management
Establish and maintain robust internal controls over financial processes, including spend approvals and cash flow reporting
Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations, coordinating with external consultants where necessary
Support and enhance accounting workflows and systems, including tools like NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
Develop and maintain internal and external financial reporting packages, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash runway analyses
Manage intercompany transactions, currency conversions, and cross-border accounting processes
Act as a trusted finance partner to the CEO and leadership team, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
Required Qualifications:
6–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including 2+ years as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition standards, and international accounting practices
Demonstrated experience in managing global payroll and cross-border financial operations, including intercompany transactions and foreign exchange (FX)
Systems-driven mindset with proficiency in ERP and accounting tools such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar
Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong ability to build and improve scalable processes
Outstanding communication and business partnering skills with experience supporting senior leadership
CPA or equivalent qualification strongly preferred
