🩺 Position Overview:

As a Healthcare Patient Advocate, you will serve as a liaison between patients and the healthcare system—ensuring that patients receive the information, support, and care coordination they need. You’ll work closely with clinical and administrative teams to resolve concerns, clarify procedures, and promote a positive patient journey.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the patient enrollment process for prescribed medications.

  • Assist patients in accessing coverage and navigating insurance requirements.

  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls (average of 12+ calls per hour).

  • Notify patients and healthcare providers of approvals, denials, and next steps.

  • Schedule treatments and follow-up appointments.

  • Respond to patient and provider inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

  • Perform daily administrative tasks and case updates as assigned.

âś… Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.

  • Healthcare or call center experience is ideal.

  • Familiarity with insurance and benefits processes is helpful.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

  • đź’˛ Pay Rate: $17/hour

  • đź•’ Schedule: Full-time position with multiple shift options.

  • 🏠 Work Arrangement: Hybrid model — 3 days on-site and 2 days work-from-home after 1–2 months of fully on-site training.
