LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a downtown Louisville, Kentucky client seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk. This position has the opportunity to grow into a permanent hire on the payroll team, reporting to the payroll manager.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll
· Process and maintain garnishments
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay
· Review electronic timecards, payroll, data entry for accuracy
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of prior payroll experience preferred
· Associates or Bachelor's degree - OR - relevant payroll work history
· Knowledge of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws
· Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written

· Contract to Hire
· In-Office, flexible core work hours
