LHH is assisting our Louisville manufacturing client in their search for a qualified Senior Accountant to add to their growing team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing general accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Key responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of inventory and cost accounting principles
• Timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversight and execution of Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing and payment issuance
• Management of Accounts Receivable processes, including customer correspondence, collections, and statement generation
• Treasury management, including ACH and wire transfers
• Completion of bank reconciliations
• Maintenance and tracking of fixed assets
• Participation in financial and other accounting-related audits

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and pivot tables.
