Job Title: Senior Collections Specialist (Temporary) - 6 Months
Location: Near Lyndhurst (Hybrid)
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Range: $25 - $27 per hour
Introduction:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Collections Specialist for a temporary 6 month role located near Lyndhurst. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business-to-business (B2B) collections and be ready to start this week.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the B2B collections process to ensure timely payments
Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding balances
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts
Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates
Analyze and review aging reports to prioritize collection efforts
Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients
Monitor and report on collection metrics and performance
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B collections
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Experience with ERP systems is a plus
Knowledge of credit and collections best practices
Ability to handle high-volume accounts and meet deadlines
