Job Title: Senior Collections Specialist (Temporary) - 6 Months

Location: Near Lyndhurst (Hybrid)

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Range: $25 - $27 per hour

Introduction:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Collections Specialist for a temporary 6 month role located near Lyndhurst. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business-to-business (B2B) collections and be ready to start this week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the B2B collections process to ensure timely payments

• Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding balances

• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities

• Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts

• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates

• Analyze and review aging reports to prioritize collection efforts

• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients

• Monitor and report on collection metrics and performance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B collections

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Experience with ERP systems is a plus

• Knowledge of credit and collections best practices

• Ability to handle high-volume accounts and meet deadlines
