- Benefits Administration:
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Coordinate with benefit providers and manage vendor relationships.
- Oversee open enrollment periods and ensure smooth implementation of benefits changes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze benefits data to assess program performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on benefits trends, costs, and employee utilization.
- Monitor and evaluate benefits usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in benefits legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
- Handle benefits-related audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Employee Support:
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits options, claims, and issues.
- Develop and deliver benefits communications and educational materials.
- Address and resolve benefits-related inquiries and concerns from employees.
- Program Evaluation and Enhancement:
- Assess current benefits offerings and benchmark against industry standards.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to benefits programs based on employee feedback and market trends.
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of new benefits providers or vendors.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and confidential benefits records and documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits-related transactions and changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- years of experience in benefits administration or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in benefits management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- [Certification such as Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar is a plus.]
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities and regulations.
