Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Madisonville, KY 42431
Work Type: On-site
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour
Contract Length: Up to 6 months, with potential for extension
About the Role:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client to find a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant for a 6-month contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a background in administrative support who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and type various reports and materials, including technical data and complex formats, in accordance with department policies.
Provide prompt and professional telephone coverage, including follow-up and message handling.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for assigned managers, and manage related correspondence.
Maintain organized filing and record systems, including administrative data, charts, graphs, and historical records.
Perform general office duties such as proofreading, sorting, assembling documents, distributing mail, and requisitioning supplies.
Coordinate travel arrangements for company personnel.
Participate in internal volunteer committees, such as the Activity Committee.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Dress Code & Safety Requirements:
Business casual attire with closed-toe and closed-heel shoes.
PPE including safety glasses and shoes will be provided.
