Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and oversee the accounts receivable function. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing

  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices

  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing issues in a professional and timely manner

  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer interactions

  • Maintain and update customer files and records

  • Assist with month-end closing processes and account reconciliations

  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls over the accounts receivable process

  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus

Compensation:

Hourly pay is $27.00 - $34.00
