LHH is seeking a Bookkeeper for our client near Malibu, CA! The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain comprehensive accounting records for multiple companies and property investments.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping for businesses and properties, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Collaborate with property managers to prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Track and allocate expenses for development and construction projects.
  • Analyze and report on property purchases and sales.
  • Create property proformas.
  • Prepare financing packages.
  • Negotiate with vendors and monitor vendor payments.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective policies and efficiency improvements.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and reports.
  • Conduct CAM reconciliations and prepare annual statements.
  • Handle all aspects of small office management, including mail, filing (both electronic and hard copy), errands, supply purchases, inventory, and correspondence.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in real estate accounting, specifically for commercial lease properties, apartments, and financial management.
  • Five or more years of experience in bookkeeping and office management.
  • Expert level proficiency in QuickBooks Pro and Excel.
  • Strong capability in drafting comprehensive, professional correspondence.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.


Pay Details: $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
