Accounts Payable Associate
Location: Fully Onsite in Manhattan Beach
Pay: $29-$38/hour, based on experience and stability

You will be required to join the union
We are looking for an AP Associate to join our team
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process reciprocal funds for travelers and generate monthly reporting; prepare and maintain spreadsheets and balance to general ledgers.
- Prepare and cut weekly checks for consolidated holding account and 401(k) reciprocals.
- Perform reconciliation on a monthly basis regarding Pension Plan to include balancing of quarterly taxes and audits as needed.
- Provide support to AP and Accounting Staff as needed
- Prepare backup for remittance and payables
- Process weekly payments to Health Plan vendors.
- Perform additional task as assigned and required.
- Communicate with vendors and customers via phone and email if needed.
- Assist with accounts receivable if necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processing.
- Knowledge of SAGE 100/MAS-90; ISSI/Bridgeway remittance software, as well as Outlook, Excel, MS Word, a plus.
- Union membership required.
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits covered by employer (90-day probationary period).
- 401(k), pension (after vesting period).
- 11 holidays Holidays, vacation, personal leave.
