• Create and manage a comprehensive fundraising communications calendar, developing strategies to solicit and cultivate individual donors through email, social media, and direct mail throughout the year.
• Draft compelling donor communications materials for current and potential donors, constituent groups, and the general public, including e-solicitations, year-end fundraising appeals, and other opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing to leverage social media and other digital resources, targeting new networks to identify, engage, and solicit prospective donors and supporters.
• Expand and manage the recurring giving program, including drafting communications, stewarding recurring donors, and advising on strategy.
• Work with the Development and External Affairs Coordinator to segment donors for tailored messaging, track data related to donor communications efforts, and recommend strategy adjustments as needed.
• Develop a renewals program for individual donors, drafting personalized communications to request that donors renew or increase their giving.
• Use data from donor communications and appeal programs to identify individuals with the capacity to become major donors for further engagement.
• Prepare donor research and briefings for the Chief Development Officer, CEO, and Board members, and participate in solicitations as appropriate.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and act as a liaison to handle meeting logistics.
• Synthesize programs into clear, compelling proposals, reports, communications, and letters to individuals.
• Help create and oversee the Planned Giving program, including promoting, identifying, soliciting, and stewarding donors.

• Must have 5 years of experience working in Donor Relations/ Individual Giving
