Supply Chain Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist with 3 years of experience, for a full-time job, this is a Direct Hire opportunity located in Manhattan, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and sourcing freight and last-mile delivery carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective service.

• Collaborate with senior team members to negotiate competitive rates, delivery terms, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with transportation vendors.

• Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, ensuring accuracy in orders and timely deliveries.

• Manage shipment scheduling and tracking, working closely with transportation providers and carriers to ensure timely arrivals.

• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including shipping labels and Bills of Lading

• Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and customers to resolve any issues regarding deliveries, shipments, or inventory.

• Review and audit invoices for accuracy, identifying billing discrepancies and working with vendors to resolve them.

• Generate detailed reports on shipping costs and carrier performance, driving cost optimization and improved service efficiency.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information.

• Monitor inventory levels and place reorder requests to ensure continuous production or operation.

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.

• Help analyze supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

• Maintain and update procurement databases and reporting tools to track purchasing activities.

Qualifications:

• Must have 3 years of experience working in supply chain or logistics

Employment Type: Full time, Direct Hire

Salary: $65,000-75,000/yr
