We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support one of our clients located in Marietta. This role will oversee a variety of HR functions, including benefits and compensation, recruitment and onboarding, payroll, compliance, and workplace safety. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of HR policies and employment law, strong communication abilities, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to administer employee benefit programs such as health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, 401(k), and wellness offerings.

  • Liaise with benefit providers to ensure accurate enrollment, eligibility updates, and life event changes.

  • Assist employees with benefit-related questions, claims, and plan modifications.

  • Support the open enrollment process by distributing materials and guiding employees through selections.

  • Help manage compensation programs to ensure pay structures remain competitive within the industry.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for open positions.

  • Draft and issue formal offer letters.

  • Conduct background screenings and verify employment eligibility.

  • Assist with onboarding new hires and coordinating offboarding procedures.

Payroll & HR Systems:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.

  • Process semi-monthly payroll for both hourly and salaried staff in accordance with company policies.

  • Work with payroll vendors to ensure proper deductions for benefits and other contributions.

  • Maintain HRIS data, generate reports and dashboards, and keep the organizational chart current.

  • Handle additional payroll-related tasks as needed.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Stay informed on HR trends, employment law updates, and best practices.

  • Assist with immigration documentation in partnership with external legal counsel.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.

  • Respond to employment verifications, unemployment claims, and other official requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a generalist or similar HR role.

  • Strong grasp of HR principles, employment regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms.

  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
