Position Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Accounting Manager who is fluent in Spanish and has proven experience in a manufacturing environment. This role is instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost analysis, inventory controls, and operational efficiency across both English and Spanish-speaking teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial statements, and supporting schedules.

  • Analyze and report on budget vs. actual results; collaborate with department leaders to explain and manage variances.

  • Support quarterly forecasts and the annual budgeting process across departments.

  • Analyze actual manufacturing costs vs. standard costs, providing clear insight into variances and performance trends.

  • Manage the monthly inventory reconciliation process; investigate discrepancies between the general ledger and perpetual inventory.

  • Plan and collect cost data related to raw materials, labor, and overhead; recommend process improvements for cost tracking and reporting.

  • Oversee the cycle count program, including item selection, recounts, discrepancy resolution, and monthly reporting on progress against the annual plan.

  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits; maintain strong internal controls and process documentation.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams at all levels, including operations, production, and corporate.

  • Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English to support cross-functional collaboration.

  • Support finance initiatives and coach junior staff, helping to streamline workflows and improve team performance.


Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish (Required)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or CPA strongly preferred)

  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP

  • Experience with ERP systems (manufacturing modules preferred)
