Medical Billing Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our healthcare client in the Melville area looking for a Medical Billing Manager. This position will be 100% onsite and a direct hire opportunity.



The Medical Billing Manager will oversee everyday duties for the AR billing team, ensuring that operations are running smoothly. The role will be working with the team everyday to ensure that patient inquiries are taken care or and that billing processes are completed efficiently and properly, making sure claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.



Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree desired
  • CPC, CCS, or CCSP Certification required
  • Minimum 4 years revenue cycle management
  • Must be proficient working within EMR Systems, Clearinghouses, and Microsoft Office
Skills
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to grow and develop a team
  • Able to efficiently communicate with a wide array of individuals from upper management to direct reports
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to recognize payer trends
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance payers, ICD/HCPCS codes, and HIPPA
  • Can work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to uphold production metrics for team in order to meet revenue goals as outline by management
