This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality customer service in a healthcare setting.Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming patient calls and respond to inquiries regarding medical services, appointments, and billing.
Assist patients with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and updating patient records.
Provide accurate information on medical procedures, policies, and physician availability.
Resolve patient concerns in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality laws (HIPAA).
Input and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance policies is a plus.
Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) software.
Preferred Skills:
Empathy and patience in dealing with patients’ concerns and health-related inquiries.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
